Julian Green is officially leaving German power Bayern Munich for second division VfB Stuttgart. The move for the 21-year-old Green comes as a free transfer.
Green impressed this summer for Bayern Munich enough to make the starting day roster but could never find any regular playing time with the star studded squad. Green appeared in only two matches this season, both coming as part of the German Cup and never making a first team appearance in the Bundesliga.
Stuttgart were the 2007 Bundesliga Champions however dissappointed last season which saw them relegated to the second division. Stuttgart currently sits two points back of first place place in the 2.Bundesliga.
Julian Green scored a first half hat trick for Bayern Munich against Inter Milan as part of the International Champions Cup. Green scored in the 7th, 30th, and 35th minute for the Bundesliga powerhouse.
Green was loaned from Bayern to Hamburg for teh 2014/15 season which turned out to be a big step back for Green's career as he and the club struggled. Green then spend most of the 2015/16 season in the German fourth division for Bayern II and recorded 10 goals. Green's future for the 2016/17 campaign has been a huge question mark.
Green has been largely absent from US International duty since his World Cup goal against Belgium. He was left off of the Copa America cup this past summer and last saw action against Puerto Rico in a Copa warm up. We will have to wait and see what Bayern plans to do with the 21 year old American forward but hope to see him continue to make progress with the club.
Here is a link to watch all three goals.
US International Emerson Hyndman has found a new home by moving to Premier League side Bournemouth. The 20 year old midfielder played 17 games games for second tier Championship side Fulham last season. Fulham signed Hyndman in 2011 from MLS side FC Dallas.
Hyndman has featured in two games for the senior level US Men's National Team and previously served as caption of the US Under 20 team at the 2015 U20 Wolrd Cup. Hyndman was also part of the home and home Olympic qualifier against Colombia earlier this year. This will be a big step for the young American, here's to hoping he sees regular playing time and develops his game in the midfield.
Bobby Wood is reportedly set to take his talent from the German second division side Union Berlin to the top level of German soccer in the Bundesliga with Hamburg SV. Wood has signed a four-year deal with Hamburg until the summer of 2020.
Wood set a German league record for goals by an American in a top German league with 17 goals in 30 games.
The 23 year-old Wood was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and has made 16 appearances for the US Men's National Team (USMNT) recording 4 goals. Most notabely in the 2015 friendlies against the Netherlands and Germany. Wood was named on the 40-player Copa America provisional Roster and we will wait and see if he makes it on the full roster.
The Columbus Crew have officially traded star forward Kei Kamara to the New England Revolution. In return, the Revs will send an undisclosed amount of General Allocation Money (GAM), Technical Allocation Money (TAM), a 2016 first-round draft pick, a 2017 second-round draft pick, and an international roster spot.
Kamara finished as the runner-up for the MLS Golden Boot award with 22 goals last season for the Crew. Kamara was recently suspended for one game due to his rant against teammate Higuain after a disagreement on the field over who would take the Columbus penalty kick. Kamara was upset that he did not take the PK on what could have been his first career hat trick.
The Revolution now have a plethora of forward options with Kamara, Charlie Davies, Juan Agudelo and Teal Bunberry. It will be interesting to see how Kamara fits into the mix. Columbus meanwhile only has two forwards left on the roster, Ola Kamara and 35 year-old Conor Casey. Expect the Crew to go shopping for a new forward option with the new roster spot and/or the new found cash pile.
US Men's National Team forward Jordan Morris is on a hot streak for the Seattle Sounders. Morris has tallied a goal in each of the past four games. By notching his fourth goal of the season Morris has tied the single season record for goals by a rookie for the Sounders and an MLS record for consecutive weeks with a goal by a rookie. Not bad, huh?
The latest goal sealed a win for the Sounders against San Jose Earthquakes. Morris launched a long range shot from approximately 30 yards out that was able to beat San Jose keeper and fellow USMNT member David Bingham at the near post.
Keep it up Jordan!

Morris has gotten of to a somewhat slow start this season but saw increased goal scoring opportunities against the Union playing with 10 men and made the most of it in the Sounders sixth game.
